Why Use Lifting Bails from MSI?
Lifting bails are commonly used to handle tool joints, stabilizers, subs, drill pipe, collars, and bits; all of which are routinely utilized in the oil and gas industry.
At MSI Pipe Protection Technologies, our lifting bails are manufactured according to ASTM A27 Grade 60-30 specifications and machined to meet current API thread connection standards. In fact, both the threads and shoulders are precision machined and feature phosphate coated threads for added corrosion protection.
Most commonly used API thread connections are available and any custom connections can usually be accommodated as well.

Because your safety is important to us, we will only offer you lifting bails which have been load tested for safety and meet 3x the safe working load. We provide material test certificates with each lifting bail at no additional charges to our customers. Additionally, we maintain complete traceability by providing unique serial numbers stamped into each lifting bail.
