Thanks to you, MSI was able to participate in multiple volunteer service opportunities around the world this year. Moreover, we had the privilege of forming new partnerships while we continued developing pipe protection innovations that protect your bottom line.
Along with this Holiday Greeting, we’ve highlighted a few significant events and updates that took place this year. So, read on as we share in our excitement of what you can expect from MSI in 2019.
Giving Back at MSI
This year, MSI’s staff around the world participated in various opportunities to serve and give back to our local communities. In Alberta, Canada, our Leduc team was honored to assist several times at a local food bank. A few MSI staff from the Alberta offices also took time out to serve the Afternoon Tea at a historic site in the Leduc community.
Here in Houston, our blood drive initiative yielded a fantastic turn-out for the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. And at the start of the new school year, MSI’s management team helped donate over 515 school supply packages to families of students at Francone Elementary in Cy-Fair ISD.
Forming Strong Partnerships and Expanding Our Capacity
MSI dedicated a large portion of 2018 to solidifying new distribution/partnership agreements, as well as beefing up service capacity. As such, we anticipate these connections and expansions will positively carry us through 2019. MSI was also excited about signing an initial MoU with the Shawcor Company to facilitate future collaborative efforts and opportunities.
For our Mexico facility, MSI made investment initiatives to add to personnel, tooling, and equipment maintenance. These additional upgrades are in efforts to further support our growing customer demand. Overall, we’re very excited about expanding and serving even more in Mexico.
We’ve also taken on new safety initiatives for our facilities in Canada, the US, and in Mexico. MSI’s 2018 ingenuities will make for safer work environments, while also maintaining compliance status with current safety codes and regulations. When it comes to delivering quality pipe protection, compliance is always our top priority.
Developing Product Innovations
Our engineers have also worked hard this year to introduce several new and exciting product tooling redesigns for 2019. You can expect innovative editions as we present new lifting bails and new perforating gun protector designs next year. We’re also in pursuit of new specialty items and services for branding and pipe identification.

Every new initiative we take is to better serve you, our valued customers and partners. As such, we’re optimistic about what’s in store for 2019. For instance, the launch of our new website this year is something we all remain very excited about. We are also thrilled to announce the release of our first-ever company catalog. So, from developing new partnerships, collaborations, and new products, to improving facilities and expanding service capacities, we’re most excited to experience good success on our end and yours!
