The Global Petroleum Show (GPS), is one of the world’s largest energy events. This year was no exception, they provided yet another opportunity for industry players to come together. Companies were able to network, discover innovative features, and also showcase the latest innovations in oil and gas. Overall, the atmosphere was electric, with over 18,700 companies represented from over 92 countries worldwide.
As industry leaders, we at MSI Pipe Protection Technologies were also delighted to attend the showcase. In fact, this year we showcased an exhibit of our own in Calgary, Canada, the GPS’s host city.
The Global Petroleum Show
GPS 2016 certainly provided everyone with a lot of great insights into the future of the energy sector. With 170 professional presentations spanning over the 3-day event, there was never a dull moment. Moreover, there was plenty to learn and much to see. The speakers included some of the best minds in the business. They tackled current issues and future prospects, for example, providing valuable information for eager listeners.
There were also 17 networking sessions that served to create more meaningful connections among the delegates and attendees. Hence, we thoroughly took full advantage of the opportunities afforded to meet new and existing customers. We also looked forward to making potentially long-term connections with other industry leaders.
The heart of the event was the array of exhibits and displays. Our center booth for MSI Pipe Protection Technologies represented a strong presence. Moving Pipe Protection Forward
In 2015, we made a major commitment to our Canadian customer base with the opening of a new 23,000 sqft. warehouse and distribution center located in Leduc, Alberta.
